Today, John puts that expertise to work advising businesses on strategic issues, including strategic planning; business planning; management consulting; mergers, acquisitions and sales; structuring and restructuring.
He acts as a permanent advisor to many clients’ advisory committees, and is renowned for giving the practical, down-to-earth advice that clients need to hear in order to have the best chance of success.
John’s passion for helping organisations to succeed extends to a raft of positions with not-for-profit and community welfare organisations, particularly a number of independent schools which he advises on financial management and planning. As he puts it, he likes to “help make a difference to organisations that help make a difference”.
